Animals have always played a major role in Belinda’s life. She started
training dogs at the age of 9 years old through her local 4-H group and
competed for several years. Through life’s turns, Belinda’s career path
took her into the airline industry where she’s spent a decade. Although
she’s enjoyed the travel industry, her passion for dogs is where her heart
is.
To build upon her knowledge and experience Belinda attended National K-9
School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, OH, graduating from their Master
Trainer Course. Her certifications include Basic and Advanced Obedience,
Puppy Development, Behavior Modification, Breed Identification, Utility,
Scent Detection, Tracking, Retrieval and Assistance Dog. She is an evaluator for the American Kennel Club's (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. (For more details about the CGC program, please visit American
Kennel Club's (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC). She is also an active member of the IACP and the NK9DTA.
Belinda has four rescue dogs; two Weimaraners, named Drew and Craven, a terrier mix, named Gus and a corgi/terrier mix named, Memphis. |
Jeff has spent most of his life around dogs and has a great understanding
of dog behavior. His experience allows him to specialize in obedience and
behavior problem solving.
Jeff has helped families work through simple issues that can be corrected
with minor behavior modification to more severe and challenging problems
such as aggression and separation anxiety. His work has prevented dogs
from being abandoned or euthanized, allowing dogs to find their forever
home in a loving family.
In addition to Jeff's personal experience, he has also mentored under a
Certified Professional Trainer and is now putting his knowledge and skills
to work. He trains your dog to be the loving, controlled dog the family dreamed of when they first met and fell in love with them. Jeff is also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club's (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. (For more details about the CGC program, please visit American
Kennel Club's (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC).
Jeff lives in Walton, Kentucky with his two children and his rescued
Weimaraner named Marley. |

Belinda and Jeff are both actively involved in the rescue and fostering of
Weimaraners through Louisville Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. After seeing so
many dogs turned over to shelters, rescues and often just into the street,
for what in many cases is a problem that can be fixed with basic training,
they decided they can make the biggest difference by helping people build
better communication with their dogs through training.
