I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the Greater Cincinnati Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure in its efforts to END BREAST CANCER FOREVER.

Please help support me in this important project by becoming a member of my team!  The Race for the Cure will be held on the morning of September 25, 2010, in Downtown Cincinnati. I am looking for friends and family to join me in supporting this very worthwhile cause. Becoming a team member is easy! All you need to do is click on the link below and register for the Race for the Cure© and “Join a Team” – we’re team ”NKYK9 for the Cure!”.  This is a dog-friendly, 5K walk and you’re certainly welcome to bring Fido or Fifi with you.  By bringing a dog, we do exclude ourselves from entering the baseball stadium afterwards, as dogs won’t be permitted there but I’ll still be bringing one of mine.  We’ll even have pink bandannas for all the dogs. I realize doing a 5K walk isn’t for everyone and that’s OK.  This will be my 4th time walking in the Race for the Cure but I’ve also participated in other ways over the years and you can too!

Donations are tax-deductible and will fund innovative outreach and awareness programs for medically under served communities in Greater Cincinnati and national breast cancer research.
